It’s a good question. After all everything is on the internet isn’t it!
Well no. Firstly agents still have mailing lists of active buyers and will make sure their registered buyers get informed about new properties before they are released on the internet sites.
Secondly some owners prefer low key marketing where the properties are made available to known buyers but not splashed across the internet. Others insist on discreet marketing for personal reasons.
Numerous properties are sold without the internet by local experienced proactive estate agents who know their market and buyers.
So the best advice to serious buyers is to register with the agents in the area you are looking in. Get to know those agents and build up a good rapport with them. Make them your friends.
Then when something new comes on they will remember you and tell you first about new property coming on the market.
You will be ahead of the rest then and make finding that new home that bit easier.
